Webelos Trail Achievements
The Webelos rank is the fourth rank in Cub Scouting. The Webelos trail moves the Webelos Scout along the trail to Cub Scouting's highest award, the Arrow of Light Award. By the time a boy has earned the Arrow of Light Award, he is close to joining a Boy Scout troop.

In order to earn the Webelos badge, a boy must earn three activity badges, each one from a different activity badge group. One of the badges must be Fitness, from the Physical Skills Group. The other two badges may be any of those listed below. The activity badges are colorful metal emblems that are pinned on the Webelos cap or to the Webelos colors (gold, green and red ribbons worn on the right sleeve).

Arrow of Light Award
Finally, a Webelos Scout earns the Arrow of Light Award ~~ the highest rank in Cub Scouting ~~ by earning the Webelos badge and then five more activity badges, including Citizen, Readyman and Fitness. The total must include at least one badge from each of the five activity badge groups.

By the time a boy has earned the Arrow of Light Award, he is ready to graduate into a Boy Scout troop.

Note: Any boy who is just starting out with Cub Scouting must first earn the Bobcat badge, before he can start along the Webelos trail.
